Thank You! - Beach Rotary Club for your most generous donation.

On Thursday, December 20 the Panama City Beach Rotary Club presented Beach Care Services with a $1,500 check at their Charity Luncheon. Board members Brenda Bryson and 2013 Chairman of the Board, Felicia Cook attended the luncheon and received the check.

Celebrate the Arts Year Two was a Success!

The 2nd Annual “Celebrate the Arts” Local Artists Market to benefit Beach Care Services and Aaron Nichols Medical Equipment Fund was a success last month! The event co-hosted by Beachy Beach Real Estate and Cerulean Interiors united local artists and craftsmen to share their gifts and celebrate art and its’ power to help others.

Celebrate the Arts (CTA) featured artists from a variety of disciplines, from paint to woodworking. Local vendors such as Cottage Collages and Sassy Jewels creator, Constance Snellgrove sold their handcrafted items and donated a percentage of their profits back to Beach Care Services, a charity that provides short-term emergency assistance to local families and to the Aaron Nichols Fund.

In just a few hours, over $3000 was raised and donations are still rolling in at www.beachybeach.com/celebratetheartspcb. $1000 was raised for Beach Care Services and over $2000 was raised for Aaron Nichols.

An inaugural CTA Signature Event T-shirt was also available for participants who made donations to the Aaron Nichols Fund, courtesy of local businesses such as Cox Pools and Setco Services.

Aaron Nichols is a Bay High graduate whose near-fatal car accident five years ago left his family in dire need of financial help.

Funds raised from this event will help purchase the medical equipment needed for him to walk again.

Many residents may know Aaron’s father, Gary Nichols, who teaches music at Breakfast Point Academy.

If residents were unable to attend the event, they can still “Celebrate the Arts” by donating to both causes online or sharing their gifts on the CTA Facebook page www.facebook.com/celebratetheartspcb.
